A & A believes that in order to have healthy turf you must have healthy soil that the turf feeds on. By incorporating Nature Safe this allows us over time to build the organic matter of your soil. Once this happens the soil goes to work for us! When Nature Safe, a carbon-based material, is applied it will begin to release beneficial elements that are naturally occurring in the soil. The negative charge of Nature Safe will wake up the microbes and allow them to populate through the soil. When other nutrients are applied during the lawn treatment program, they will be used more effectively before going through the plant. So we make sure to take care of the soil that is going to take care of your plant!

A Few Tips to Remember Before Fertilizing
- Test your Soil so you can choose a fertilizer based on your soil type
- Liquid fertilizer is slightly more expensive but it encourages faster growth
- Granular Fertilizer has a longer lasting Effect
- A slow release nitrogen prevents your grass roots from absorbing excess nitrogen. too much nitrogen is a detriment to your lawn’s health.
- Use a spreader and fill the spreader on a hard surface, where any spills or excess can be swept up and reused.
- Watch the weather! Too much rain can lead to runoff and will not have the desired effect. Fast release fertilizers should not be applied before a heavy rainfall. Any fertilizer application should be followed with watering.
