GRUB CONTROL
A grub problem will cause serious damage to the health/appearance of your lawn. Grubs are one of the most damaging types of lawn pests; an overpopulation will destroy your turf and lead to costly repairs. A&A’s grub prevention program is a highly effective solution to grub infestation. The one time application is cost effective and will eliminate the threat of damage to your lawn. To check if you have a grub problem, peel back a square foot of turf in several areas of your lawn. If you see 6 or more grubs in each area, it may be time for action.
Signs You Have a Grub Problem
1) You are able to pull back dead patches of your lawn like pieces of loose carpet, 2) Birds, raccoons, and other animals are digging up your yard, 3) Your lawn feels spongy when stepped on.
The Right Time To Apply Grub Control
In most cases it’s best to treat your lawn for grub worms in early summer and early fall. Different types of grub control applications help with different stages of grub worm growth. An early summer treatment is meant to kill grubs before they lay eggs and kill hatchlings if they do hatch. An early fall treatment is meant to kill live grubs.
