Before construction began, this backyard had a paver patio that was functional—but constrained. A sloped yard and elevation changes limited how much of the space could actually be used for entertaining, relaxing, or gathering with friends and family. While the footprint existed, much of the yard simply wasn’t accessible or practical.The homeowners wanted more room to entertain and enjoy their outdoor space—but without sacrificing aesthetics or long-term stability.
The Solution: Retaining Wall + Patio Expansion
Our team designed and installed a structural retaining wall system that allowed us to reclaim and level the space. By holding back the grade, we were able to safely expand the patio and create a much larger, more functional layout.The existing paver patio was then extended and seamlessly tied into the new space, creating one cohesive outdoor living area rather than a patchwork of surfaces.
The Result: A Backyard Transformed
The finished project more than doubled the usable backyard space, turning what was once a limited area into a true outdoor destination.
